so there is a big low on its way in set to hit us late this weekend how do you think this will affect deer movement. Will they feed hard right before it hits or will movement increase once the temps drop.

I have always had luck with hunting before and after the storm. As long as the wind isn't to extreme it should be good.

We're going to get another major storm tomorrow down our way, and the deer were out feeding in the fields all afternoon today. Kind of like fishing on a falling barometer.

We have three cameras out and check them daily. The animal ( deer ) count has been pretty low, so if the numbers increase dramatically from now until Thursday I suppose there will be some credence to the weather change theory !!

We can only hope !!

Have always seen good amounts of deer activity on the days leading to a cold front, and the first couple days of it hitting. Then again the rut is kicking in pretty good, so anything could happen. As long as it's not too windy.

The nice thing with deer is they will be somewhere, unlike fishing where you need them to bite on top of it all. If the deer aren't moving in the area your hunting you need to find them, it might even be the best hunt of your life where you do find them because you will be able to choose which one out of the herd you want.
