congrats. I failed but only got out 3 times myself, and was my first time trying this year. Had some gobbles out there but never wanted to come into the decoys. Saw one fanning 175yards away but stayed on the other side of the fences
TURKEY, TURKEY, TURKEY
Finally got my bird today. Took long enough. The young guns set the bar pretty high but I was able to get the Boss. Spurs +, Beard +, Fan - (two tail feathers missing) Pictures to come, with moms help. This year was the best year for me. I have hunted turkey birds since day one in Manitoba. My bird is a trophy but the real trophy is watching my Grandsons evolve. This year 2023 and the times we had together is what IT IS ALL ABOUT. Young fellows missed out on some of the fun, they took their birds pre wood tic. No shortage of tics now.
