Other bands: Bullet for my valentine, The red jumpsuit apparatus, My chemical romance, Smashing pumpkins, Rise against, Led zepplin, wolfmother, ac/dc to name a few

Not bad at all I regularly listen to at least half those bands, Even saw Tom Petty live, Twice.

I just recently saw Roger Waters do The Wall, 2 concerts in Winnipeg and went to both, and last year flew to Vancouver to see it as well. Music now sucks, and I am only 32. "New" music has sucked my whole life. Everything I listen to is from the 60's and 70's

As someone who has a lot of years on you, I am heartened to hear that. I thought I was turning into my father who couldn't figure out what the music of my generation was :? . Other than a few women singers like Diana Krall, Sara M., Norah Jones, etc., there has not been much that has been appealing to me since BEFORE disco came out. The only other exceptions would be when someone like Clapton decides to bring out something new.
It was pretty cool when satellite radio had a Pink Floyd weekend on the U.S. Memorial day weekend. The Deep Tracks (27) "station" turned into the Pink Floyd station for that weekend. Nothing but PF for the whole weekend! And that band has quite a library to play. Those dudes at XM/Sirius have got it right .
