The gun that I most regret letting slip through my fingers was my grandfather's .410 shotgun. It was a bolt action, mag fed... wish I could remember the brand/model. He apparently got it so my grandmother could shoot snakes in the yard. It was the only gun I never saw anyone else shoot, although I did shoot it several times. Really wish I could have gotten my hands on that one!

What gun(s) did you let get away, that you still wish you could get back to?

Have not had many guns but one I shoulda bought was my stepdad had a beautiful Sako with American walnut stock in .270

Stevens Model 200 in 308 that I wish I had kept. Shot well but saw greener grass . . .

Savage 99 in 300 Savage cal. Not glamorous but fit amazing well and shot great too.

To name a couple . . .

Remington 700 in 300 WIn Mag.....I ended up buying it back from the guy as he was tired of complaining that I should have never sold it !
I pulled off some amazing shooting with that unit. Awesome tack driver with Remington stock ammo!!
