This beautiful bull was shot from + - 120 yards. It was a quartering away shot. The photo shows the entrance wound, and the bullet exited dead center through the off side shoulder. I was using my Model 70 in 375 Ackley Improved, with the 270 grain Barnes XLC coated bullet. The bull only ran about 70 yards after the hit. His horns measured 41 X 41 5/8. I couldn't be happier. A bull this size is like taking a 190 class Whitetail.

It was simply a matter of being in the right place, at the right time, with the right guide, and...being able to shoot accurately.
