MB Conservation is looking at getting deer heads from GHA 26, 17A, 36 and 34 to see what precentage of the deer have the parasite causing brainworm (which is fatal to moose). You can bring your deer heads to the Pine Falls, Lac du Bonnet or Seven Sisters conservation offices.

Participation is on a voluntary basis, but for the benefit of deer and moose in the area, it's important to know what is going on with brainworm.

If you want to keep the antlers, the antlers will be removed and returned back to you once the head has been checked.

You can call the Lac du Bonnet conservation office or other mb conservation office if you have questions.

Spread the word!
