I just watched "Canada in the rough" on WildTV, they were hunting in southwestern Manitoba, with Twisted Oak Outfitters. It is afew miles away from my property down there. They were hunting early archery for velvet bucks. One of the big bucks that they were after in that early season, they got on film, is one of the same bucks i got on my trail cam 100 yards behind my cabin. I thought it was pretty cool.

Here is the buck on my trail cam.

Yeah, this is the second year i have got him on my cams. He is still alive as far as i know, they didn't get him on the show which was early sept. and i got him on cam in oct. He hung around my place for muzzle and got a glimpe of him from my treesand on one of the scrape and rub lines, but was too far and too thick to get an arrow to him. Nothing during rifle either, i hope he made it and will be even bigger this upcoming season.

wow cool story, best of luck.

I really hope he ends up as your trophy would be nice to see a local guy who has put in the time harvest this animal.
