just looked around looks like the 2011 is the only guide available at this time.
yea that's all i found too .Thanks for taking a look
Call the Conservation Dept at 945-6784 in Winnipeg or toll free 1(800)214-6497. Perhaps they can tell you when it will be available. Funny thing the website now states 2012 Hunting Guide but when you click on it, it opens the 2011 one.

The Fishing Guide did the same thing for about 2 weeks.
the hunting guide doesn't usually come out until fall time

I downloaded a copy of the 2011 guide last year on May 2nd, so hopefully this years comes out before the fall.
I think it should be out now personally. given spring bear is just around the corner as well as gobblers.

They usually come out about now, but apparently this year they will be at least a couple of weeks later than normal due to some yet to be finalized changes to whitetail deer seasons / limits in some zones.

Also what it a bit odd is the guide is usually out in hard copy before it's up on line.
Hope I dont have to settle for one deer in my area across all three seasons.....
oh i hear you! Again i say i don't just want to go slaughter deer for sport but one deer would suck, you see a nice 8 do you hold for a ten. Is he the deer i want to take do i want to take a doe out of the herd, he is limping, she is a old doe or a yearling. i am very lucky i have all those thoughts in my mind on my land.
Read on another form that the guide will be delayed due to changes being made. The final week of rifle has been cancelled, they are still deciding wether or not to shorten the archery and muzzle seasons. And it is true, a limit of one deer per person for all three seasons combined except for a handful of zones which I can't remember. My opinion conservation is out to lunch on this one! Try promoting hunters taking &out the predators a little more! I'm sure there will be alot of poaching going on this year!

Poachers don't care about tags, seasons, time of day, property ownership and a whole bunch of other things. They won't care about how many tags they'll be able to get.
I have to agree this will turn guys into poachers, sad part is most of them will get away
Regulations don't turn people into poachers. Poachers are probably breaking the rules already, no mater what the limits are.

I disagree, if you could harvest say 3 deer and that was the right amount of meat for you and then you are only allowed to take one deer I think it could easily turn a traditionally honest hunter into a poacher. Not saying its right but undoubtably it will happen more, especially with the limited number of CO' s out there

Couldn't agree more!
The predator problem/issue did not develop overnight. And unfortunately the proper management solution didn't either. Now we have reaction management in place. Was the govenment worried about someone writing about a coyote/wolf cull? Perhaps a link to a video of coyotes/wolves eating a deer alive in a letter to the editors of the local papers might have swayed public opinion. Too little, too late now. I would like to see published the numbers of extra wolves taken by RTL trappers under the extra incentive applied last winter. This program and the two wolves/tag limit in certain GHA's was not enough. In my area we have been seeing LOTS of wolves while we are deer hunting, sometimes more than deer. If you see 10 you are lucky to get one shot. Pack sizes reported have been unheard of up to this time. And I think when you have them running around in the cottage areas you have definitely got a problem. A separate wolf hunt should have been instituted if game management was the goal. It also makes me laugh when I see the spring bear hunt under attack yet again. Does the public not realize that bears are another main predator of fawns and moose calves? Obviously not. There's another visual for them.
Anyway, I think the reason for late regs is these impending changes.
P.S. Just think how these shortened seasons (without notice) impacted all the outfitters that had clients booked long ago.
