Looking for some advice on some decent camping and fishing. Looking at going to meeting up with a buddy from Saskatoon for May-long for some fishing. Looking for any suggestions on anywhere somewhere in the middle between us here.

We have tried Lake of the Prairies and the trout lakes around Roblin, but wondering if there is anything else?

Feel free to shoot me a PM or post here.

Thanks so much!

crooked lake? I haven't been on there in the summer in quite some time but the ice fishing has still been decent for perch, walleye, and jack.

x2 on crooked lake Nice campground
decent fishing
Might want to call park office to reserve I don't think it was affected from flooding
But might want to check with them at the park office if you talk to them
They have some real nice drive through sites

Thanks for those....also looking to inside Manitoba borders.

Anyone have anything good in Riding Mountain (other than touristy Clear Lake)?....species doesn't matter in fact, different species could be good.

How about Jackfish Lake...anyone fish there?

Bakers Narrows has a great campground and cabins available at the Lodge. The best Lake Trout fishing in Manitoba, one could also make a short trip to Barbe for big Rainbows, several Walleye waters in the area.
