I've been wanting to upgrade my Remington 700sps from a synthetic to a laminate thumbhole stock... Problem is I can't seem to find one for the SPS on boyds website... I also wanted to add a laminate stock on my GF's Tikka T3 as well and can't find a stock for it on their site either... Anybody know if they are available???

take a look at these. i've got one on my 375 Ackley, and I love it. Expensive though...custom made...hard to believe they're laminates.

They have for the 700 sps- just call them... no go on the Boyds for Tikkas tho... best for Tikka that is readily avail is a B&C from Prophet river in Lloydminister, sask... or you could order from US and have it shipped to someone that has an import license - but a long wait! The B&C is not a thumbhole, but a huge improvement from the syn tikka stock.
I've bought 3 boyds thumbholes - I do like them, but a bit of a pain with gloves on. Mine all fit the actions good, no more finishing required, altho I did bed all three with Devcon.

Thanks guys... Hard to find stocks for clip model guns, that don't need work done to fit the clips!!!
