I was picking up a DVD set I ordered from Blaines (Bookstore in Selkirk) a while ago and can't go there without looking at books, ended up finding this awesome book, "Weapon: A visual history of arms and armor". This book has everything from stone arrow and axe heads to ak-47's to celtic axes to ww2 red army issues weapons. It's 360 pages of awesomeness, What I think most of you may find interesting is section on firearms chronicling gunmakers like Beretta, Winchester, and Browning and alot of the firearm innovations over the years including a period in the 1600's when gun-makers were combining match-lock firearms with blugeon weapongs like a mace or an axe. The book is very picture heavy as the title hints at, but doesn't lack knowledge by any stretch. Alot of the weapons (Even the really old ones) are pictures of ACTUAL weapons from the time periods, not just replicas.
