nope. the hogs seem to only come around at night...where we hunt there is a lot of bush, marsh...a hogs haven to multiply, especially with the mild winter we had last winter.
Keep an eye on them for now, see what happens.

I have never tried bating the hogs and I don't have a clue how to go about that. It's the first year we see them on the trail cameras but I heard of one that was shot a few miles away from the property we hunt.

for baiting id just bait them with stuff one would feed pigs, apple cores, corn husks etc, maybe acorns, left over pumpkins from halloween. I'm not an expert I'm juust thinking out loud :D

I'm not sure about baiting them, I don't think I'd see many more hogs if I set up a bait site but there would be a ton of deer coming in. The oaks where we hunt had a good crop of acorns and the farmland around was yielding a good crop of corn and sunflowers do I don't think the hogs are starving. However if I see a hog hunting with my dad touring rifle season, he's going down.
